Each summer, Lori brings her dyes, pot, burner and supplies to the shop to do dye demonstrations for the public. She limits the attendees to 8 so that everyone can see what is happening in the dye pots. She starts the session with a quick workshop about the process and color theory then the group goes to the back of the building to play with color. Lori brings 6-8 of our yarns so that attendees can see, for instance, how the Mohair Lace, Sahara Silk, and Merino DK dye differently.
This year, the demonstrations filled up very quickly with 24 spots and 79 people interested. She may add more demonstrations later in the year so stay tuned.
